Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, UK Red Security have introduced a range of cameras to screen people at your business premises for fever.
Thermal cameras with high temperature accuracy can help detect elevated body temperatures which may indicate the presence of a fever. Thermal cameras can be used for the fever screening of staff, visitors, people traveling through an area such as an airport or train station.
1. High Efficiency: It takes only one second for a thermal camera to detect temperature of a person, this allows screening of large numbers of people at a time.
2. Safety: Thermal cameras feature non-contact temperature measurement from about one meter away, avoiding unnecessary physical contact.
3. Confidence: With fever screening in place, staff and visitors will be more confident about your company’s efforts to protect against the spread of Coronavirus.
Due to recent events from the Coronavirus pandemic, UK Red Security has introduced a range of fever screening cameras that you can now introduce into your business practices and operations to keep your workforces safe.
Thermal cameras help to screen for fever conditions in people quickly and effectively. Detecting elevated body temperatures, COVID temperature screening cameras offer a non-contact temperature measurement, notifying you of someone with an unusually high temperature, as well as lower, fewer grades too.
Also known as infrared cameras, you will find a range of different types of screening equipment available. For example, those suitable for screening individuals one at a time, or cameras that can be used at control gates in train stations or airports, for example, where crowd screening is relevant.
The screening results provide you with a reading between a person’s outside skin temperature and their core body temperature. For example, the fever screening cameras help to discern those external face temperatures measured at the tear duct, identifying those that are considerably higher than others.
You can then use this reading to determine whether this person can come into your place of work or go home to self-isolate.

How it works
COVID-19 temperature screening detects changes in temperature through varying measurements by matching radiation values and temperature values and using an algorithm model to provide an accurate outcome.
Detecting elevated body temperatures that indicate the first stages of a fever/virus is the best way to stop or, indeed, slowing down the spread.
High efficiency as you can carry out multi-person detection in seconds.
Safety – there is no personal contact required, with notifications and alerts sent through the system itself directly to you.
Confidence – with excellent accuracy scores and real-time readings available, you can have the confidence that your workplace environment is a safe place to be.
Offering you quick and easy setup, the UK Red Security team is on hand to help you with all of your thermal imaging camera questions.

Frequent Questions Answered
Can the fever screening thermographic camera be installed outdoors?
To ensure the accuracy, we strongly recommend applying the solutions indoors.
How accurate are the cameras?
At present, the cameras have an accuracy of ±0.5℃.
Can the camera detect human bodies for temperature measurement?
The camera detects human bodies when screening. It supports up to 30 persons at a time. But still we recommend to carry out temperature measurement person by person.
Will other heat sources (such as tea cups, kettles, etc.) cause false alarms?
The cameras are able to use human body detection technology, so other heat sources will not cause false alarms.
When can I use the fever screening function after a camera is turned on?
The cameras need to be warmed up before using. Turn them on and wait for 5 minutes for a handheld camera, 30 minutes for a bullet/turret camera.
